For tourist groups we offer a dedicated format — a helicopter tour over Chornobyl and the exclusion zone starting from Slavutych, the satellite town of the ChNPP. Tourists fly in threes, and while some are in the air the others are not bored: an experienced guide introduces the group to the architecture and life of Ukraine’s youngest city, as well as the Slavutych and Chornobyl NPP museum.

What you will see

the town of Slavutych and the abandoned villages of the exclusion zone;
herds of wild animals on the protected territories;
the «Chornobyl-2» antennas and the town of Prypiat;
the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant and the town of Chornobyl from a height of 200–300 metres.

A feature of this format: participants see for themselves how the people who work at the ChNPP live today, and can talk with real liquidators of the disaster.

Who it suits: tourist groups and companies who want to combine a flight over the exclusion zone with a tour of Slavutych. Photo and video are free. Flights are operated on the Robinson R44 (3 passengers) and the Eurocopter EC120 (4 passengers).

If fog, snow or other adverse conditions get in the way, we will reschedule the flight at no extra cost.

A group tour to Chornobyl is an ideal gift experience for a birthday, anniversary or any celebration. Leave a request for a gift certificate: it will be valid for 6 months from the date flights resume, so the recipient can choose a convenient date.

Questions about this route

There are four or more of us — what then?

You fly in several departures on the Robinson R44 or in a larger helicopter — as agreed with the manager. The manager calculates the price for the group.

What happens if the weather is unsuitable on the day of the flight?

We reschedule the flight to another date that suits you, at no extra cost. Safety comes first: flights are not operated in non-flying weather, and the pilot makes the call.

Is there a weight limit for passengers?

Yes, there is a limit — it relates to the helicopter’s weight and balance. The combined weight of three passengers is up to 250 kg, with up to 120 kg per seat. There is no surcharge for weight. The exact limit depends on the fuel load and is confirmed before departure. If a passenger weighs more than 120 kg or the total exceeds 250 kg, contact us and we will find a solution individually.

What documents do I need?

We recommend bringing an identity document; for Prypiat and Chornobyl it is mandatory. Before the flight you complete a registration via a link with your passport details — that is how passenger insurance is arranged.
